Valerie Goehring

Valerie Göhring (* 1992 ) is a German dramaturge .

Career

Göhring studied theater studies , German and urban studies at the University of Leipzig as well as curating in the scenic arts at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Salzburg .

In 2014 she worked for two years as assistant dramaturge at the Schauspiel Frankfurt . In the 2017/18 season she was dramaturge at the Berliner Ensemble . Göhring has been employed in this role at the Münchner Kammerspiele since the 2018/19 season .

In the survey by the magazine Theater heute , the work by Valerie Göhring and Matthias Pees for Dionysos Stadt at the Münchner Kammerspiele was voted the best dramaturgy of the 2018/19 season.

The work The Insults of Mankind , directed by Anta Helena Recke, was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen 2020.
