Valfredo Bernardo Tepe
Valfredo Bernardo Tepe OFM (born April 28, 1918 in Münster , † February 14, 2003 ) was Bishop of Ilhéus .
Life
Valfredo Bernardo Tepe joined the Franciscan Order and was ordained a priest on May 30, 1942 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him on February 13, 1967 auxiliary bishop in São Salvador da Bahia and titular bishop of Thasbalta . The Apostolic Administrator of São Salvador da Bahia , Eugênio de Araújo Sales , donated him episcopal ordination on May 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Adriano Mandarino Hypólito OFM, Bishop of Nova Iguaçu , and Edilbert Dinkelborg OFM, Bishop of Oeiras .
The Pope appointed him Bishop of Ilhéus on January 14, 1971 . On July 5, 1995, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
