Vanda Gomes
Vanda Gomes ( Vanda Ferreira Gomes; born November 7, 1988 ) is a Brazilian sprinter .
At the Junior World Championships in Athletics in Beijing in 2006 , she won bronze over 200 m , and at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in 2009 , she came fifth with the Brazilian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 2011 she won silver with the Brazilian relay at the South American Athletics Championships in Buenos Aires . At the World Championships in Daegu , she was eliminated over 200 m in the preliminary run and came in seventh place with the relay, and at the Pan-American Games in Guadalajara she won the 4-by-100-meter relay.
In 2013 she was part of the Brazilian quartet at the World Cup in Moscow , which did not finish in the final of the 4 x 100 meter relay.
On September 25, 2014, she was banned for two years for doping with anastrozole .
