Franciela das Graças Krasucki (born April 26, 1988 in Valinhos ) is a Brazilian sprinter who is particularly successful with the Brazilian 4 x 100 meter relay.

Athletic career

Franciela Krasucki gained her first international experience at the South American Youth Championships in Asunción in 2002 , where she finished fifth over 200 meters. In 2003 she won the bronze medals over 100 meters at the Junior South American Championships in Guayaquil and won the Brazilian 4 x 100 meter relay and took sixth place over 200 meters. Then she finished fourth over 100 meters at the World Youth Championships in Sherbrooke, Canada . At the Pan American Junior Championships in Bridgetown , she finished seventh over 100 meters and fourth with the Brazilian relay. In 2004 she took part in the Junior World Championships in Grosseto , where she reached the semi-finals over 100 and 200 meters. In autumn, she won four gold medals in the short sprint disciplines as well as with the sprint relay (1000 meters) at the South American Youth Championships in Guayaquil.

In 2005 Krasucki won the youth world championships with the Brazilian sprint relay and again finished fourth over 100 meters. At the Junior South American Championships in Rosario , she won gold medals in the 100 and 200 meters, as well as with the 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2006, she also won the Ibero-American Championships in Ponce over 100 meters and with the relay and qualified again for the Junior World Championships in Beijing , where she finished seventh over 100 meters and eliminated over 200 meters in the semifinals. In addition, she took fourth place in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the final. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , she set a South American record with the Brazilian 4 x 100 meter relay in the lead with 42.55 s and took seventh place in the final with 42.91 s. In 2013 she won silver over 100 meters and gold with the Brazilian relay at the South American Championships in Cartagena . At the World Championships in Moscow she reached the semifinals over 100 meters and was eliminated over 200 meters in the preliminary run; in the final of the 4 x 100 meter relay, she did not reach the goal with the Brazilian quartet. In 2014 she qualified for the first time over 60 meters for the World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland , where she was eliminated in the semi-finals. At the South American Games in Santiago de Chile , she won the bronze medal over 100 meters. This was followed by winning the gold medals over 200 meters and with the Brazilian relay as well as the bronze medal over 100 meters at the Ibero-American Championships in São Paulo.
