Vanessa Fischer (born April 27, 1997 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

In 2010, Fischer switched to the C-youth team at FF USV Jena . From the 2013/14 season she played for the second team in the 2nd Bundesliga and the Regionalliga Nordost . For the 2014/15 season, Fischer also moved up as a substitute goalkeeper in the Bundesliga squad and made her debut there on May 4, 2016 in a 5-1 defeat away from 1. FFC Frankfurt . After fifteen reserve games and one Bundesliga appearance for USV Jena, she moved to the second division VfL Sindelfingen. After 22 games in the 2nd Bundesliga South near Sindelfingen, she moved to BV Cloppenburg in the 2nd Bundesliga North at the beginning of September 2017 . After three years at BVC, she moved to the second division promoted Borussia Bocholt in July 2020 .

Personal

In addition to her active career, she and her teammates Lina Hausicke and Anja Heuschkel attended the elite school of the FF USV Jena, GutsMuths Sportgymnasium Jena, until 2015 .
