Vanessa Maurischat (* 1973 in Braunschweig ) is a German musician and cabaret artist.

Life

Vanessa Maurischat began to learn the piano at the age of five and began training on the electric bass and jazz / pop piano in 1989 . Between 1989 and 1999 she had engagements in various gala and cover bands. In 1992 she began her studies of cultural studies with the main subjects music and theater at the University of Hildesheim , which she graduated in 2000. Since 1993 she has had several engagements as a bar pianist, and since 1996 she has also performed solo concerts as a chanson singer and songwriter. In 1997 she became a finalist in the national singing / chanson competition and took 2nd place. In 2000 she released her first CD "Vanessa Maurischat - live". In 2001 she won her first cabaret prize at the junior competition as part of the XII. Cabaret festivals in Kiel .

In 2005 her second CD "ECHTZEIT" was released. Since 2008 she has appeared in Germany with her solo programs “intim” and “Amor & Psycho”. As a member of the group of four “Wild Hilden”, Maurischat played with Annie Heger , Meike Gottschalk and Helena Marion Scholz from 2010 to 2016 in the comedy revue “Sekt And The City”, the bar pianist Nessa. Since 2011 she has also been scanned together with Holger Edmaier and the program “Naked bathing. saved. linked. ”on tour. In February 2014, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Deutschlandradio, she appeared on a nationwide anniversary tour in Hanover as a star guest.
