Vecsés (German: Wetschesch ) is a town in the small area of Monor within Pest County in northern Hungary . The city is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Budapest .
In 2010, 20,830 inhabitants lived in an area of 36.18 km².
The M0 motorway runs on the eastern outskirts of Vecsés and the M5 motorway from Budapest to Kecskemét 6 km to the west .
The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air is based in Vecsés, as are Cityline Hungary and Fleet Air International .
