Veerle Baetens
Veerle Baetens (born January 24, 1978 in Brasschaat , Antwerp Province , Flanders ) is a Belgian actress , author , singer .
Life
Veerle Baetens received her musical training at the Institute for Dramatic Art of the Royal Conservatory in Brussels . Since then, Baetens has played several theater and musical roles and has appeared in several television series and films in recent years.
Baetens celebrated her big breakthrough with the telenovela Sara in 2007 and 2008. In 2008 she played a leading role in the internationally acclaimed Belgian film Loft - Tödliche Affären . She also achieved success as a musical actress, so she played the lead role in the musical Pippi Longstocking and won the 2005 John Kraaijkamp Musical Award for it.
In 2012 she released an album called Take it all with her band Dallas .
Baetens lives with her partner in Overijse , Belgium , where she gave birth to a daughter on October 23, 2008.
