Verena Fiebiger

Verena Fiebiger (born June 24, 1983 in Munich ) is a German journalist and radio presenter . She is an editor and presenter at Bayerischer Rundfunk .

Life

Verena Fiebiger grew up in Munich, where she studied speech therapy (Bachelor 2007) as well as linguistics, speech therapy and developmental psychology (Magister 2010) at the Ludwig Maximilians University . Since 2007 she has worked as a freelance radio and film writer for Bayerischer Rundfunk ( BR Fernsehen , ARD-alpha , arte , Bayern 2 , Bayern 3 , PULS ) and as a presenter. 2011–2013 she completed the editorial program traineeship at Bayerischer Rundfunk.

From 2013 to 2015 she moderated a. a. with Jolyne Schürmann and Christian Schiffer the program Netzfilter on PULS as well as the Netzmagazin on B5 aktuell . From 2015 to 2016 she moderated the program "Freundeskreis" on PULS. From July 2016 to August 2018, she moderated the Bayern 3 late shift together with Roger Rekless . Due to restructuring in the evening program of Bayern 3, the program was discontinued in December 2018. Fiebiger has been moderating on PULS again since June 2019.

Verena Fiebiger is a trained speaker for radio and TV productions. As a radio and podcast author , she regularly writes short articles and radio feature programs and writes scripts for films. She directed various television productions and developed concepts for documentary films. She worked as a production assistant for the movie production About a Girl (2013-2014).

Since May 2019 Fiebiger has been producing the PULS psychology podcast The Solution together with the Munich graduate psychologist and systemic therapist Lena Schiestel . The format was awarded the DRK Media Prize in 2020.
