Veronika Winterstein (born January 31, 1939 in Vienna ) is a former German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

Life

Veronika Winterstein, née Steinborn, attended grammar schools in Augsburg and Frankfurt and studied languages ​​in Frankfurt am Main and Paris. She worked as an interpreter in French and English. Veronika Winterstein has two children and lives with her husband, the former Lord Mayor Norbert Winterstein in the Rüsselsheim suburb of Bauschheim.

Veronika Winterstein has been a member of the SPD since 1969. In addition, she belonged to the Young Socialists and the Working Group of Social Democratic Women (state executive).

From December 1, 1982 until her departure on April 4, 2003, she was a member of the Hessian state parliament. It was elected from the state list.
