description
The 32 meter long cave has an entrance more than 15 meters wide and 4 meters high. There are numerous large fall blocks in the entrance area. From the entrance in the northeast, a short, steeply sloping corridor leads to several cave rooms in which one can no longer find any fall blocks. In the eastern part of the cave there is a chimney , while in the western part there is a crevice shaft . Both the chimney and the cleft shaft have not yet been investigated. In the west runs parallel to the cave rooms a 10 meter long, deeper passage. There is a call connection between the cave rooms and this passage.
The rocky floor of the cave is partially covered with earthy sediments. The Verurzhöhle serves as a wintering place for some troglophile animals.
