Vervò ( Nones : Vervòu ; German outdated: Verfau or Werfs ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Predaia and until 2015 was an independent municipality in the province of Trento in the region of Trentino-South Tyrol .
geography
Vervò is located about 26.5 kilometers north of Trento in the middle Val di Non at an altitude of 886 mslm and borders directly on South Tyrol . The Priò fractions belonged to the municipality of Vervò . Neighboring communities were Kurtatsch on the Wine Route , Roverè della Luna , Taio , Ton and Tres .
history
With effect from January 1, 2015, Vervò was merged with Coredo , Smarano , Taio and Tres to form the new municipality of Predaia .
