The administrative community Am Ohmgebirge was in the Thuringian district of Eichsfeld . It was named after the Ohm Mountains . The city of Worbis and three communities had come together in it to carry out their administrative business.

The administrative community was founded on December 2, 1991. The dissolution took place on March 15, 2004 through the merger of the municipalities of Breitenbach and Wintzingerode as well as the city of Worbis and the city of Leinefelde to form the new city of Leinefelde-Worbis . At the same time, the Ferna community was assigned to the Lindenberg / Eichsfeld administrative community .
