In the administrative community of Beilrode from the district of North Saxony in the Free State of Saxony , two municipalities have come together to handle their administrative business. The fulfillment municipality and the administrative seat of the administrative community is Beilrode.
The administrative community was established on December 17, 1990 with the member communities of Arzberg , Döbrichau , Großtreben , Zwethau and Beilrode . In 1994, Großtreben and Zwethau merged to form Großtreben-Zwethau , which remained in the administrative community until it was incorporated on January 1, 2011 in Beilrode. Döbrichau was incorporated into Beilrode on January 1, 1999 and thus also left the administrative community, so that today only Arzberg and Beilrode belong to it.
