Döbrichau is a district of the municipality of Beilrode in Saxony .

geography

The village is on the federal highway 87 between Torgau and Herzberg (Elster) . The town hall borders on the villages of Zschackau , Löhsten , Görnewitz, Rehfeld and Falkenstruth. The desert village of Beckwitz is also part of Döbrichau.

history

Until 1660 the place belonged to the Saxon office Annaburg , until 1815 to the office Schweinitz . In 1550, 25 possessed men lived here, including 19 Anspänner or Hüfner, a feudal man who was also the judge and six gardeners who were directly subordinate to the Lochau office.

Döbrichau already had its own pastor in the 16th century.

During the Thirty Years War , Döbrichau suffered numerous looting as a street village in the Annaburger Heide, which led to the fact that the place was abandoned by almost all residents. Of 25 possessed men, only five lived there in 1660. It was therefore called the desert village of Dobrichau . Elector Johann Georg II of Saxony ceded ownership of this village in 1660 to the Electoral Saxon Chamberlain, Colonel and Captain of the Meißen , Oschatz and Mutzschen offices , Hanß Abraham von Gersdorf zu Kreischau . This assignment resulted in the change to the Saxon office of Schweinitz, to which the Kreischau manor belonged at that time.

On January 1, 1999 Döbrichau was incorporated into Beilrode.
