Location of Döhlen in Saxony

Döhlen is a district of Beilrode in the district of North Saxony in Saxony . The place emerged from a Vorwerk that belonged to the Saxon office of Annaburg until 1815 . North, the 157 is ha large nature reserve Prudel Döhlen .

history

An earlier spelling of the place was Dehlen (1550).

The Vorwerk belonged to Anthonius Herr in 1550 , who paid taxes to the then Lochau office (Annaburg from 1573). Around 1577 it belonged to the Annaburger Oberforstmeister Valentin Franckenau.

When the Margravine of Brandenburg moved to Lichtenburg Castle near Prettin , the donations were no longer made to Annaburg, but directly to the castle there.

On July 1, 1950, Döhlen was incorporated into Rosenfeld.
