Administrative community Camburg

The administrative community Camburg was in the Thuringian Saale-Holzland district . The city of Camburg and four municipalities had recently united in it to handle their administrative business. The seat was in Camburg.

The administrative community was founded on June 8, 1993. On January 1, 1997, the Thierschneck community was added from the dissolved Schkölen administrative community . On April 1, 1999, Zöthen was incorporated into Camburg, so that the administrative community only consisted of five member communities. The dissolution took place on June 29, 1999. With effect from June 30, 1999 Camburg became a fulfilling parish for the other six member parishes.
