Administrative community Gardelegen city

The administrative community Gardelegen Stadt was an administrative community in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt , in it the city of Gardelegen (seat of the administrative community) and three surrounding communities were united.

The former municipalities with their districts:

• Mountains with Ackendorf , Laatzke and Ziegelei
• Hanseatic city of Gardelegen with Ipse , Isenschnibbe , Lindenthal , Weteritz , Zienau and Ziepel
• Hemstedt with Lüffingen
• Neuendorf Monastery

On July 1, 2009 the administrative community was dissolved; the parishes were incorporated into the town of Gardelegen, which became a unified parish .
