The Pastetten administrative community is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Erding and is formed by the following communities:

  1. Buch a.Buchrain , population 1521, 22.75 km²
  2. Pastetten , 2755 inhabitants, 22.08 km²

The administrative community is based in Pastetten.

Originally, the community also belonged to the community Forstern , which was the eponymous and seat of the corporation. Forstern was released from the administrative community on January 1, 1980 and the name was changed.
