Vesel Limaj (born December 1, 1996 in Freising ) is a German football player of Kosovar descent.
Career
In his youth, Limaj first played for SSV Ulm in 1846 , before moving to Berlin in 2004, where he went through the youth departments of 1. FC Neukölln , SV Lichtenberg 47 , BFC Dynamo and Tennis Borussia Berlin . In 2013 he switched to the youth team at Energie Cottbus . In 2015 he joined the regional league team of Hamburger SV . He made his debut in the Regional League in August 2015 when he came on as a substitute for Rafael Brand in the 64th minute against TSV Schilksee on the second day of the 2015/16 season .
In January 2017 Limaj switched to the Austrian second division club SV Horn , with whom he received a contract that was valid until June 2018. He made his debut in the second division in March 2017 when he came on as a substitute for Ilja Antonov in the 75th minute against FC Blau-Weiß Linz on the 22nd matchday of the 2016/17 season .
After relegation from the second division, Limaj moved to Albania in August 2017 for second division club KS Bylis Ballsh . In July 2018 he went to the first division club FK Kukësi . With the club he won the Albanian Cup in his first season. In the 2018/19 season Limaj made his international club debut in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League against Debreceni VSC from Hungary.
