The Veshav (also Veshaw , Vishav or Vishaw ) is a left tributary of the Jhelam in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir .

The headwaters of the Veshav are located below the Konsarnag mountain lake at an altitude of around 3400  m in the Pir Panjal . It flows in a northerly direction through the mountains. After 15 km it cuts through a mountain ridge and overcomes the Aharbal waterfall . The Veshav now flows along the northern flank of the Pir Panjal through the southern part of the Kashmir Valley in an easterly direction. It flows south past the district capital Kulgam . The river then turns north. The Veshav finally meets the Jhelam 13 km north-northwest of Anantnag . 5 km earlier, the Rambiara joins the Veshav from the left. The Veshav has a length of about 70 km.
