The Vestre Svarthornbreen ( Norwegian for Western Schwarzhorn Glacier ) is a 30 km long glacier in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Wohlthatmassiv it lies between the western and central Petermann chain .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1968 based on the name of the neighboring black horns (Norwegian Svarthorna ).
