Victor Allen Butler (born July 29, 1987 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American football player in the position of linebacker . He played college football for Oregon State University before being selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft . He is currently a free agent .
Player career
college
Victor Butler studied at Oregon State University , where he played college football on the defensive end position . In 2006 and 2007 he was able to move into bowl games with his team and win both games.
NFL
Butler was selected 110th in the NFL Draft in the fourth round by the Dallas Cowboys in 2009 . He is used by the cowboys as a linebacker . In the 2009 season he got three sacks . In his rookie year he moved into the play-offs with his team . After the 2012 season, his contract was not renewed. In 2014 he moved to the Arizona Cardinals and was there in the squad, but was not used before he was released and moved to the Indianapolis Colts .
