Victor Emilio Ramirez (* the thirtieth March 1984 in Ezeiza , Province of Buenos Aires ) is a former Argentine professional boxer and former world champion of the IBF and former. World champion in cruiserweight the WBO .
Ramírez played his first professional fight in 2006. He suffered his first defeat in December 2006 against Sebastian Ignacio Ceballos . In a fight against Claudio Carlos Roque Fernandez in June 2007, the fight had to be stopped because the ring could not withstand the weight of the two boxers and the referee. He won the title "South American Champion" on August 30th, 2008 by defeating Mauro Adrian Ordiales from Argentina. He contested on January 17, 2009 with the fight for the WBO interim world championship in cruiserweight for the first time a duel outside of South America, namely in Düsseldorf . Against the unbeaten Russian Alexander Alexejew , Ramírez won early by giving up in the ninth round.
On August 29, 2009 he lost against Marco Huck in Halle (Westphalia) on points and thus the WBO World Championship.
Ramirez's last professional match so far was on May 21, 2016 against Denis Lebedev. He lost to technical knockout in round 2.
