Victor Hogan

Victor Hogan (born July 25, 1989 ) is a South African discus thrower .

In 2010 he won bronze at the African Athletics Championships in Nairobi and was eighth in the Continental Athletics Cup in Split . A silver medal at the 2011 African Games in Maputo and a victory at the 2012 African Championships in Porto-Novo was followed by fifth place at the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow.

In 2014 he finished tenth at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow , defended his title at the African Championships in Marrakech and finished fourth at the Continental Cup in Marrakech .

At the 2015 World Cup in Beijing, he was eliminated from the qualification. In 2016, he tested positive for methylhexanamine during a doping control and was banned for nine months.

He set his personal best of 65.33 m on July 7, 2013 in Donnas .
