Victor O. Frazer

Victor O. Frazer (born May 24, 1943 in Charlotte Amalie , Saint Thomas ) is a politician of the US Virgin Islands .

Life

Frazer attended Charlotte Amalie High School . He then studied at Fisk University in Nashville , Tennessee , where he received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1964 . He received his Juris Doctorate in 1971 from Howard University's Law School in Washington, DC . That same year he was inducted into the New York , Maryland , District of Columbia and US Virgin Islands bar . Frazer was now working as a lawyer. He also worked in the banking industry, including for the Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and the Security Trust Company .

In 1994 he was elected as an independent to the 104th Congress , where he represented the US Virgin Islands as a delegate from January 3, 1995 to January 3, 1997 in the House of Representatives . In the elections to the 105th Congress, he was unable to defend his seat.
