Victor Rault

Victor Rault (born April 22, 1858 in Dinan , Brittany , † 1930 ) was a French politician. He was prefect from 1902 to 1919 for the departments of Ille-et-Vilaine (1902–1907), then Loire-Inférieure and finally in the department of Marne . He was then appointed to the State Council in the Saar area from 1919 to 1920.

Rault was the first president of the Saar government commission for the League of Nations (1920–1926). For his services to France, he was appointed Grand Officer of the Legion of Honor (GO LH) in 1922.
