Four nights with Anna is a 2008 film by Polish director Jerzy Skolimowski with actors Arturo Steranko and Kinga Preis .

action

Leon Okrasa, a former prisoner, lives in a small Polish town. There he works in the crematorium of a hospital. Leon is too shy to look his daily counterpart - the nurse Anna, who was victim of rape - in the eyes and to confess his love to her. Instead, he goes into her apartment at night while she sleeps numb from pills. So he can be with his beloved. He cleans her apartment after a party he wasn't invited to, makes friends with her cat, mends her nurse's uniform or paints her nails. We experience the story of a mysterious love that cannot express itself.

background

When Skolimowski urgently had to deliver a contractually guaranteed script, he remembered a little note in a newspaper that reported about a Korean who snuck into his beloved's apartment at night.
