Kinga Anna Preis (born August 31, 1971 in Wroclaw ) is a Polish actress .
Life
Kinga Preis comes from an artistic family. The grandmother was a ballet dancer, the mother studied music and works at the Wrocław Opera. In the early 1990s, Kinga Preis studied at the state drama school in her hometown. While still a student, she made a sensational debut at Teatr Polski as Käthchen von Heilbronn , directed by Jerzy Jarocki . She is still associated with Teatr Polski today and is a member of the ensemble. She became known to a wider audience through her performances at the Chanson Festival in Wrocław, which were shown on television. Here she convinced with the Polish versions of Nick Cave's song repertoire . She has received numerous prizes for her theater and film works, a. a. between 2002 and 2006 she was awarded the Orły , the Polish Film Prize, three times . This makes her the only actress who has already received this award for the best leading role twice.
