It rises from Lake Étang Bernon , in the municipality of Châtenay , in the natural landscape of Dombes , which is rich in lakes , drains generally from northwest to north and flows after 28 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Buellas and Montcet as a left tributary into the Irance .
