history

The Radebeul architect and carpenter Robert Herrmann Bischoff designed and built a house for the merchant August Falcke in 1881/1882, which is the core of today's villa. In the following year, 1883, the annex was built, which is at the back of the property on the south-western boundary of the property. In the years 1891 to 1893, the owner Theodor Honymus had the villa upgraded with a dominant corner projectile from the building contractor Wilhelm Eisold from nearby Serkowitz . Honymus ran a tea factory on the property, which was taken over in 1898 by his sons Max Theodor (1871–1955), a friend of Karl May , and Alfred (1880–1954). Max Theodor's daughter Ilse Honymus (1903–1989) became a writer.

The villas Eduard-Bilz-Straße 1 and 8 , which were built not far away, were also designed by the architect Bischoff .
