Vincent James Biegel (* 2. July 1993 in Marshfield , Wisconsin ) is an American American football poker players on the position of Outside linebackers . He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2017 and currently plays for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL .

college

Biegel played for four years for the Wisconsin Badgers at the University of Wisconsin – Madison as a linebacker. In his four seasons he scored a total of 131 tackles and 15 sacks . For the last two years he played alongside TJ Watt , who is also a linebacker and was also drafted in 2017.

NFL

Green Bay Packers

Vince Biegel was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft . Thus, the Wisconsin-born Biegel played with the only NFL team from this US state . He signed a contract for four years in the amount of almost 3.1 million US dollars . Biegel had to cancel the preparations for the season due to an injury and missed the first half of the 2017 season . In week 8, he made his debut playing the Detroit Lions . In the remaining playing time, he managed 16 tackles for his team. In his second professional season, Biegel did not make the leap into the final 53-man squad with the Packers and was fired by them.

New Orleans Saints

One day after his release from the Packers, the New Orleans Saints signed Biegel for their Practice Squad .

Miami Dolphins

It was activated in September 2018 and was finally used in 14 games, with 4 tackles. On September 1, 2019, he switched to the Miami Dolphins in exchange with Kiko Alonso .
