Vincenzo Rennella (born October 8, 1988 in Cannes ) is an Italian - French football player . The striker plays for Miami FC .
Career
Rennella began his career at AS Cannes where he also made his professional debut, which was his only game for Cannes. In the following season, he was signed by FC Lugano . There he scored seven times in 24 games. It aroused the interest of the Italian first division club CFC Genua , who then took it over. But in the same summer he was loaned to Lugano again. There he had his best time to date, scoring a total of 24 goals in 22 games and becoming the top scorer in the Challenge League , the second highest division in Switzerland.
After he finished second in the Challenge League with Lugano behind the newly promoted FC St. Gallen , the latter entitled to participate in the barrage games against the second from bottom of the Axpo Super League , FC Luzern . In the two barrage games for promotion to the Super League against Lucerne, Rennella was clearly defeated with the Ticino club and also missed a penalty in the decisive game in Lucerne.
The following summer he was supposed to return to Genoa, but was immediately awarded to the Grasshopper Club Zurich .
After another year at GC, he was loaned out again. The Italian Serie A club AC Cesena brought him back home for the 2011/12 season. Rennella has been under contract with Real Valladolid since 2016 and currently plays on loan for Miami FC.
