Vinylshakerz is a German dance project that was founded in 2004 and is best known for the single One Night in Bangkok .

Career

The "Vinylshakerz" project was established in 2004 by the German DJ and producer Mike Griesheim, Thomas Detert who are already in the 90s in various other projects, such as Activate or 666 were active, and Rico Bernasconi, who as a member of Master Blaster is known , founded. Shortly after they were founded, they signed a contract with the German dance label Kontor Records .

To date, they have only published remixes or cover versions of old classics. With their first remix for One Night in Bangkok by Murray Head , one year after their founding, in 2005 the single charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The single stayed in the German sales charts for over two months and climbed to number 25.

Also their next singles Club Tropicana , originally by Wham! and Daddy Cool , originally by Boney M. , made it into the charts. In Germany in particular, the success was inevitable. After Bernasconi left in 2006, the next remixes Luv In Japan , Forget Me Nots , Can U Hear Me and Hypnotic Tango could not reach any chart positions.

The duo achieved another great success in the clubs in 2013 with a 2k13 remix to their successful track One Night in Bangkok . This was released on August 2, 2013. The title track was mixed by CJ Stone .
