Vito Schlickmann

Vito Schlickmann (born December 28, 1928 in São Ludgero ) is a Brazilian clergyman and auxiliary bishop emeritus in Florianópolis .

Life

Vito Schlickmann was ordained a priest on November 28, 1954 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Florianópolis and titular bishop of Gurza on January 25, 1995 . The Archbishop of Florianópolis, Eusébio Scheid SCI , donated him episcopal ordination on May 10 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Tito Buss , Bishop of Rio do Sul , and Murilo Sebastião Ramos Krieger SCI, Bishop of Ponta Grossa .

On March 3, 2004, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
