Vlatko Filipov (born June 1, 1991 ) is a North Macedonian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Vlatko Filipov starts for the sports club from Kočani . He competed in his first international biathlon race in 2006 as part of the Biathlon European Cup for Juniors in Obertilliach . Until the end of the 2007/08 season it remained the main field of activity of the Macedonian. The highlight of the junior career in biathlon was participation in the 2008 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the individual he reached place 76, in the sprint he did not start despite a report. During the continental competitions, the transition to the performance area took place. For the season he was appointed to the side of Gjorgji Icoski , Darko Damjanovski and Dejan Stojanoski . After three mistakes and three resulting penalties, Flilipov, as the last runner of the relay, did not finish the race in a hopeless position. In Cesana San Sicario , he made his debut in the men's European Cup towards the end of the 2007/08 season . In his first two sprint races at this point, he achieved his best results in the second highest racing series in biathlon with two 37th places.

In March 2006 Filipov made his debut in Vitoscha in an FIS race in an international cross-country skiing race. Other races followed in this racing series, in the Alpine Cup , in the Balkan Cup and in national championships. Top ten results have so far remained the exception. The first major event in 2009 was the European Junior Olympic Championships in Szczyrk with 74th place in the 10-kilometer freestyle and 69th in the freestyle sprint. This was followed by participation in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , where he started in the sprint, but when 120th of the qualification failed early.
