The Vogelwoog is a reservoir in Kaiserslautern and part of the Vogelwoog-Schmalzwoog nature reserve . The Vogelwoog is located in the Hammerbachtal west of Kaiserslautern between the industrial area West and the A6 motorway. Besides the Blechhammerweiher, the former bathing lake is the only woog from the medieval woog system that still exists today .
