The Volga ( Ukrainian Волга ) (Eng. Volga) is a three-star river cruise ship sailing under the Ukrainian flag , which was built in 1970 at the Korneuburg shipyard of the Österreichische Schiffswerften AG Linz in Korneuburg / Austria and sold to the Soviet Danube shipping company ( Russian ГП Советское Дунайское пароходство ММФ СССР ) in Ismajil . It is the lead ship of the Volga class (project Q-031). The ship was named after the Volga River .

The river cruise ship with three passenger decks belongs to a series of two ships of the type "Volga" manufactured in 1970, which was also known as "Project Q-031". The Volga has a diesel-electric drive with two four-stroke main engines MWM TbD 440-8 with turbochargers, each with 660 kW.

The Volga is used by Nicko Tours on the Danube on the cruise routes between Ismajil and Passau , from Tulcea in Romania to Passau in twelve days.
Furnishing
The ship has two-bed cabins of different classes as well as four three-bed cabins on the main deck which are equipped with shower / toilet, cupboard, adjustable ventilation, on-board telephone and safe. In addition, there are three bars (one of them on the roofed aft deck), a panorama restaurant, a sun deck with a heated swimming pool and a common room.
