In the 2003/2004 season he won the 2004 DFB Junior Club Cup with the club's A youth team with a 5-0 win against SGV Freiberg . During his youth at Hertha, he was also selected several times in the DFB's youth selections and made ten appearances in national youth teams.
In 2005 Altın moved up to the U-23 team of Hertha BSC and came to five missions in the Regionalliga Nord . In the summer of 2006, he decided to move within the league to BSV Kickers Emden , for which he played 31 league games because of the short period of use . At the end of the season he left Emden again and shortly before the end of the transfer he joined the southern regional division SV Sandhausen , for which he made 17 appearances (2 goals). After his contract at Sandhausen was not extended, he moved to the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor . After his contract expired and only ten short appearances in the Süper Lig , he moved to the newly promoted Orduspor in July 2011 , who, however, separated from him only two months later. Altın found a new employer in the third division Altay İzmir , for whom he made his debut on September 19, 2011 in the game against Corumspor when he came on for Mustafa Cevahir in the 88th minute. In 2016 he reached an agreement with BSV Hürtürkel and we will play for the Berlin league team in the 2015-2016 season.
For the 2019/20 season Altin joins the newly promoted regional league BFC Meteor 06.
