Volker Dittrich

Volker Dittrich (born September 28, 1951 in Fleestedt ) is a German publisher, journalist and author.

Life

Volker Dittrich completed an apprenticeship as a forwarding agent in Hamburg from 1967 to 1970 , attended a technical college for business administration in Cologne from 1972 to 1974 and studied from 1974 to 1978 in Cologne at the then independent college of education .

From 1978 to 1982 he worked as a teacher at a secondary and comprehensive school in Cologne.

From 1983 he set up the atelier-theater Cologne with the Turkish pantomime Mehmet Fistik (pantomime, cabaret, German-Turkish author readings, art exhibitions). From 1988 to 1994 Dittrich was the editor of publications for the Institute for Education and Culture in Remscheid.

In 1990 he founded Dittrich Verlag in Cologne and moved with them to Berlin in 2003.
