Volker Kaminski

Volker Kaminski (born July 14, 1958 in Karlsruhe ) is a German writer . He is the author of novels , short stories , essays , glosses and reviews .

Life

Kaminski studied German literature and philosophy from 1981 to 1983 at the University of Freiburg and from 1983 to 1990 at the Free University of Berlin . He completed this course with a master's degree . In addition, he worked as a tutor and educator and wrote his first literary texts. Since 1994 he has lived as a freelance writer in Berlin . Since 2014 he has also been a lecturer for creative writing / novel workshop at the Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin .

In 1995 Kaminski took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .
