history

In 2009 the "Volksbank Bramgau eG im Osnabrücker Land" and the "Volksbank Wittlage eG" merged to form Volksbank Bramgau-Wittlage eG. Both merger partners have their origins in cooperative banks that were founded in 1892 and 1895 and have since grown through mergers several times. Today there are branches in the places where banks used to be independent, for example in Bad Essen , Bohmte , Hunteburg , Ostercappeln , Rabber , Venne and Wallenhorst .
