In April 1926, Volksbank Versmold eG was founded as the original Spadaka Versmold eG at its headquarters in Münsterstrasse 20. Volksbank Loxten eG, which had existed since 1916, merged with Volksbank Versmold eG in March 1987. In 2000, Spadaka Oesterweg eG was added, which further strengthened the Versmold business area. The Spadaka Oesterweg eG, whose origins can be traced back to 1900, is therefore the oldest merger bank for Volksbank Versmold eG.
