history
In 1925, Hermann Vollert founded a locksmith's shop in Weinsberg, where he offered simple locksmith work, bicycle repairs, well and pump construction as well as the construction and commissioning of cable cars for the surrounding vineyards. In the years that followed, bucket and material ropeways were used, for example, to specialize in conveyor systems for the wood and ceramic industries. After Hermann Vollert's death in 1947, his sons Herbert and Robert continued the company together with their mother Mina Vollert.
From the 1970s onwards, Vollert developed and sold system shunting vehicles and machine technology for industrial precast concrete production and, from 1992, also conveyor technology and material flow systems for the metal and automotive industries . In 1999 Hans-Jörg Vollert took over 75 percent of the shares and the management of the company in the third generation.
In 2011, the company founded the subsidiary Vollert India Pvt Ltd. in New Delhi, India. Vollert Commercial (Beijing) Limited, based in Beijing, and Vollert do Brasil Ltda followed one year later . based in Belo Horizonte . On September 1, 2012, the shareholders of Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH took over the business operations of Nuspl Maschinenbau from Karlsruhe and founded Nuspl Schalungsbau GmbH + Co. KG as a sister company. In 2014 the subsidiary Vollert Russia OOO was established in Moscow .
