Volleyball Champions League 2018/19 (women)

The 2018/19 season of the Volleyball Champions League began on October 10, 2018 and ended with the final on May 18, 2019 in Berlin's Max-Schmeling-Halle . The Italian duel in the final was won by Igor Gorgonzola Novara against Imoco Volley Conegliano .

mode

The first three rounds were played in the knockout system , with only one pairing in the first round and eight teams competing in the second round. The two winners of the third round qualified for the group stage. There 20 teams played in five groups of four in the mode everyone against everyone . Each team competed at home and away against each of the three opponents. There were three points for a 3-0 or 3-1 win, two for a 3-2 win and one point for a 3-2 defeat. The five group winners and the three best runners-up reached the quarter-finals, which were played back and forth. This also applied to the semi-finals. The final will be played in one game.
