Vollsjö is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Skåne län and the historical province (landskap) Schonen . The place is in the municipality of Sjöbo , about 30 kilometers north of Ystad .
In 2015, the original church village Vollsjö kyrkby , located somewhat separately on the road towards Sjöbo on both sides of the Vollsjöån river , a tributary of the Kävlingeån , was designated as an independent Småort by the Statistiska centralbyrån .
Vollsjö was on the railway line between Ystad and Eslöv ( Ystad – Eslöv Järnväg ), which was opened in 1866 and nationalized in 1941 , but was only used for goods traffic until 1975 and for passenger traffic until 1981, and was officially closed in 1983 on the Tomelilla – Eslöv section passing by the site .
