The Vordere Mandling is a mountain in southern Lower Austria , in the Wiener Neustadt-Land district north of the municipality of Waldegg .

The 925 m high mountain is bounded in the south by the Piesting . The up to Oed, Waldegg community, reaching down Stampftal separates him in the west of the High Mandling . To the north it descends to the ascent of the adjacent Lindkogel and to the east to Wopfing, also a municipality of Waldegg.

On May 16, 1920, in the saddle between Mandling and Lindkogel at 860 meters above sea level, an unmanaged nature lover's hut that had emerged from an adapted hunting lodge was opened.

Until it was destroyed during the Second World War , the Lindkogler Hut of the Alpine Society D'Lindkogler Vienna, built from 1925 onwards, existed at the summit .
