Voremberg

Voremberg is a district of the municipality Emmerthal in the Hameln-Pyrmont district in the state of Lower Saxony .

Geographical location

The community is located in the middle of the Weserbergland . Here the Hastebach flows into the Hamel and this into the Weser . Voremberg lies at an altitude of approx. 69  m above sea level. NN . The village of Völkerhausen, about 1 km away, also belongs to Voremberg. This village also has the same coat of arms.

history

In 1247 a Cistercian nunnery was moved from Voremberg to Höckelheim . Voremberg was first mentioned in history when this certificate was issued by the noble lords of the Plesse . In a document of the Bishop of Minden, the counts were of Homburg in 1300 with the Villikationshof and the whole village invested .

Around 1500 Voremberg was an enclave of the Grohnde house . In a first list of people from Colonel Georg von Holle , pledge holder of the Grohnde house, the farms and job holders of the village were listed. For several centuries Voremberg remained part of the house or the later office of Grohnde.

Political development

In 1815 the offices of Grohnde and Ohsen were merged. In 1859 it was merged with the Hamelin Office . On April 1, 1885 from the former offices Hameln , Polle and Lauenstein and the cities of Hameln and Bodenwerder Hameln formed.

As of January 1, 1973, Voremberg was integrated into the Emmerthal community along with 16 other communities by the "Law on the Restructuring of the Communities in the Hameln Area" of November 20, 1972.

Split by gold and green. In the golden field half a black horse at the crack, in the green field a large oak leaf.

With a decree of October 6, 1933, the Prussian State Ministry approved the use of the coat of arms for the rural community of Voremberg.
