Vortex in Kings Iceland ( Mason , Ohio , USA ) was a roller coaster on the model Custom Looping Coaster manufacturer's Arrow Dynamics , which opened on 11 April 1987th It was closed on October 27, 2019.

At the time of its opening, it was considered the roller coaster with the most inversions . It was at the point in the park where the roller coaster The Bat previously did its laps. Bat's station continued to be used as a Vortex station.

About 1000 tons of steel were needed for the construction.

Trains

Vortex had three trains with seven cars each. Four people (two rows with two people each) could sit in each car. The passengers had to be at least 1.22 meters tall to be allowed to ride. Shoulder straps were used as a restraint system.
