Vytautas Pranciškus Lukaševičius (born October 19, 1932 in Pagečiai , Wolost Jonava , Kaunas district , † July 3, 1994 in Vilnius ) was a Lithuanian forest engineer and Soviet-Lithuanian forest politician, minister .

Life

He grew up in the village of Pagečiai, now the Jonava district . His father was Vaclovas Lukaševičius. In 1956 Vytautas Pranciškus Lukaševičius graduated from the Aleksandras Stulginskis University in Kaunas . From 1956 to 1959 he worked in Troškūnai in the Rajongemeinde Anykščiai , from 1960 to 1962 in the Rajongemeinde Pasvalys . From 1963 to 1978 he was the first secretary of the Communist Party of Lithuania ( Lietuvos komunistų partija ) in the district of Rokiškis . From 1963 to 1971 he was a deputy in the Supreme Soviet of Lithuania. From 1978 to 1988 he was Minister of Forestry of Soviet Lithuania and Forest Industry, from 1988 to 1990 Soviet-Lithuanian Minister of Forestry . From 1990 to 1994 he worked as an engineer at the Lietuvos miškų institutas in Girionys .
